SHOWER/BATHTUB SAFETY
Slips and falls are the most common accidents in the bathroom, and this can happen to anyone. And its just much easier for the aging population. Luckily, MOBB has lots of products that can help. Let’s talk about some ways you can make the bath and shower safer. Even with non-slip textured floors, soap and shampoo can make the floor slippery.
GRAB BARS
Invest in some good grab bars. And have them installed properly in the shower. MOBB offers some different options
We have the Soft Grip Grab Bar which comes in 2 lengths 18” MHGRPU18 and 24” MHGRPU24.
We also have the Plastic Fluted Grab Bar, this also comes in 2 lengths 18” MHGR18 and 24” MHGR24.
We also offer a Easy Grip Ball in 2 sizes 32mm MHBGP and 25mm MHBGP25. It provides extra stability and can easily attached to most grab bars.
If you can not install a grab bar, we have the Clamp on Tub Rail MHBTR. it is a very secure fit for most tubs, no assembly required and scratch resistant. The handle rises 14” above the tub.
SHOWER SEATING/BATHTUB SEATING
Get something you can use to sit in the shower with. There are many options available. You can get a transfer bench, a bath chair or a bath stool. MOBB has it.
Our Transfer Bench with Back MHSB is a great option, this product is height adjustable and offers full back and arm support. The seat width is 26.5”.
We have our Award-Winning Swivel Shower Chair MHSCII. This product swivels 360° and locks at every 90°. It offers a padded seat and padded armrests. It is height adjustable. We also have our bath chair It comes in 3 styles. We have the bath chair with back and arms. (MHBBA). We have the bath chair with back rest (MHBB), and we have the bath chair without back (MHBC). All 3 are height adjustable from 13” to 17”, have a 300 lbs weight capacity, and have suction cup feet for added stability.
If none of the previous items work for you, then try the Bath Stool (MHBST), it will fit practically everywhere, it is lightweight. It is height adjustable, has a 300 lbs weight capacity. Anti-slip, sturdy rubber tips.
If you need something that has no feet, we have our bath board (MHTBB). It has an integrated soap dish; it allows for shower curtain protection. It is 27 7/8” long, has a 250-weight capacity. It will fit on most tubs.
CLEANING YOURSELF
If You have trouble cleaning yourself, cause of limited arm or shoulder movement. Then try our Long Reach Bath Sponge (MHLRBS). It is 23” from tail to tip. The handle is contoured at 45°. It is mold resistant and has a rubber grip.
We also have our Adjustable Shower Wand (MHASHW). This item can be extended 2 times for custom length. It has a long hose, which allows it to be used in various locations. It also has a diverter valve, for easy switching between shower head and hand held spray. It also has a water pressure valve.
